For over a century, Moore Hemsworth Insurance Group Inc. has been a steadfast pillar in serving the insurance needs of Listowel, Dublin, and the surrounding area.

Moore Hemsworth began when Frederick Hemsworth, the founder, wrote a policy for a wooden farmhouse and stable, along with the client's horse, cow buggy, and cutter, in 1886. Henry Hemsworth carried forward the insurance brokerage from his father in 1903, and then his son, Carl, took on the legacy in 1930. In 1961, his son, J.Gregg Hemsworth took over the brokerage from his father and today, Frederick's great-grandson, Jon Hemsworth, continues this proud tradition, leading the brokerage since 2000 after joining in 1991. 

In 2009, Moore, another esteemed insurance family in the community, and Hemsworth joined together, and thus, Moore Hemsworth Insurance Group was born. The Moore family has provided insurance services since 1968 and, in the same tradition, passed along the business to Matthew Moore, who now, three generations later, is the Principal Broker after joining in 2008.
